As We Go: Less than one month?!

It's kind of hard to believe that we're going back to the States in less than one month. I'm excited and I'm bummed.

We know it's time to move back and, though tempting at times, we know that to stay would be a selfish decision.

When our co-workers talk about what countries they want to visit next or what things will be like next semester, Michael and I second guess the choice to move forward with our lives and the plans that God has for us.

Tuesday afternoon after talking with a couple co-workers and feeling like maybe we should change our minds and stay in Korea for another semester or year we went to a small coffee-shop/convenience store on campus, got a couple iced cafe mochas and sat and talked.

It was a good talk. We were able to calm the swirling in our minds and hash out a vision. It's actually a vision that we have both had before, we just needed to take the time to remind ourselves of it before getting caught up in the whirlwind in our heads.

We are grateful for the adventure that God has given us in Korea. It's been fun, challenging, unnerving, frustrating, exciting, and, something that most Americans never get to do. But we know that it's almost time for it to end. Maybe we will be back one day. In the meantime, we know that God's plan is so much bigger than ours and we don't want to miss out.

I've pretty much stopped doing the May photo a day this time but I do still take my camera most places so here are some pictures from the week.
