Foodless (Okay, not foodless, just grocery-less)

It's Sunday evening here and our week off work is coming to an end.
Following all of yesterday's rain, today was a beautiful, sunny spring day.  After church, Michael and I planned to go grocery shopping because we desperately needed to.
After walking several blocks and as we waited to cross the street, we realized E-mart wasn't open (the chains over the doors gave it away).  There was a sign above the door but, since we don't know Korean, we couldn't interpret much of what it said.  (ie. We could read the date "4 22" and 50%.)

We changed our plans and decided to swing by a coffee shop, grab a couple drinks, and go to the river.

With drinks in hand, we wandered down to the river which ended up being quite a nice way to spend some time on such a lovely day.

We decided to catch a bus and try to get some groceries from a different store.  No such luck.  After getting off the bus a stop too soon and walking several blocks to reach the store, we found that it too was closed.

No groceries today.

Instead of backtracking to the bus stop and using a couple thousand more won to ride the bus again, we decided to stay on foot and walk back to our apartment.

At least it was a nice day.  I'd say we definitely got our exercise in today!

So, we never got any groceries - well, I take that back, Michael did buy Ramen and ice cream this afternoon.  At least we have that to tide us over until we can get back to the store.
